3 years on: Is the Necromancer ever going to get a melee pet or more summons?
It's that time of the year again. To avoid necroing the necro thread (although I'm a necromancer myself and that would make perfect sense) here I am, in the year 2023, with the ironically called "Necrom" expansion on the horizon, asking if the Necromancer will ever feel like an actual Necromancer.
The Necromancer in ESO does not feel like an actual necromancer at all. We should be the pet class of the game and instead we got that joke that is blastbones (totally broken) which is simply a delayed projectile with a skeleton skin.
Necromancers need a melee pet and it's ridiculous that after so long and with the "Arcanist" in sight we still don't have what we should have from the very beginning. Playing a necromancer in ESO does not really feel like a necromancer. Like the ones we see and fight in-game.
So for the 3rd year I'm asking the devs to reconsider and add a melee-tanking pet for the necromancer.
