The Shadow Over Innsmouth reference, and the chapter being somewhat cosmic-horror themed. That was entirely unexpected for me, and i'm a simp for well done cosmic horror stories. I don't expect an ESO chapter story to be as dark and weird as a Lovecraftian horror, but it'll be a feast for me if we get an overall well-done story with some cosmic horror sauce on it.

New class announcement wasn't a wow for me, but i'll take it anytime over some lame stuff like mini card games. And the cinematic trailer was amazing. Honestly, first good cinematic in last 4 years imho and one of the best few.

I'm not super hyped or anything (hard-learned lesson from previous experiences, sadge) but i can call it a good announcement for today. Looking forward to see more about it.

Naryu for me, followed by the setting and the two companions, who both look awesome.

The new class looks really cool but I'm new enough I haven't worked my way through all the existing classes so that's probably more shiny and exciting to other players.
