Didn't know. I removed the info.

However this isn't datamined or rumors. This is the official info and art. It's been over all big sites and forums the past 10 hours or so. A friend notified me of it, even if he doesn't play ESO himself.

Everything always leaks. Events are usually a confirmation of things we already knew since the internet + smartphone happened.

But anyway, I will keep it super secret now

Yeah I really dislike this new rule myself as it does nothing really but prevents discussion, while every single discord server already discussed every single aspect in last what, 8 hours? Lmao.

I'm excited!

I hated AWA, I hated Update 35, and I don't want things to get simplified so much the game feels like it's on rails.

For me, it really depends on what they make of the story. From my personal point of view, Hermaeus Mora is a plus, so are Dunmer and especially Telvanni (assuming they are the focus of this story). There would be so much interesting lore they could include with this theme, so many things that come up to my mind immediately. But if they make a mediocre or even completely silly, superficial story out of it, with a stereotypical completely foreseeable villain and very simple quests and dialogues, it will still be boring.

Story-wise I'm not hoping for much, but I do hope it won't be terrible (the way Blackwood was terrible).

If the leak is true though, then I'm dreading the new feature. Or I guess I can probably just ignore it.

Whatever it turns out to be, my money is on something that has to be purchased. There's no way that whatever this big update is, that it comes into the base game.

My expectations were non-existent last year, and they'll be the same this year. I guess I just don't have as high hopes as I used to. After the vampire rework in Greymoor, and the horrible stories that followed after it, it's been hard to be hyped about anything new.

Remember when every youtuber was clamoring "Naval Combat" ? This year is gonna be "Spell Crafting". "Highly requested" is just a buzz word to get people hyped, it's like a fortune teller saying generic stuff about your future.

Correct and the global reveal is something to get excited about since it will help us know. We have had much speculation on limited knowledge in recent months but we will gain a much better and deeper understanding of what we will see this year which is good.

I also think that no matter what comes this way we will have people who are disappointed and upset. It seems to be a given here.

Yes, just like AwA was an "often requested by players" feature, but not in the way it was actually implemented.
