Companion Max HP Nerf or Bug?

I briefly searched the forums and could not find any info on if this was changed. My Companion's HP are much less than they used to be. Was this changed at some point? My Max Level Isobel with no armor weapons or jewelry on for instance only has 22.5k HP when she used to have I think 30k and according to this forum post it was 30k at base:

I put a lot of coin into purple vigorous gear and now it seems like this was waste! Please let me know if its just a bug or something.

i was going to suggest that the companions hp is scaled on level, but you mention that she is max

the only other place i know that companion hp is scaled kind of weird is craglorn (and anything in craglorn including delves and the dragonstar arena)

i think my companions (which are all max) sit roughly around 28-32k hp depending on how much +max hp gear they have, except in craglorn, i think they only sit around 16-18k (i dont remember the numbers exactly off hand)

22k sounds plausible if you have them in all max hp gear inside of craglorn

I just wanted to write again confirming that was it. Upon heading back to Reaper's March my Bastian and Isobel both have normal amounts of max HP. It is weird how it is much less while inside Dragonstar arena. Thanks again for the suggestion, @Necrotech_Master.

im not entirely sure the reason why these scalings are applied, but i can see these effects as buffs using an addon called ssrendar which can show target buffs when available (the enemies in these areas are also scaled in a similar way, so im thinking the companion might be inheriting these as well due to being an NPC possibly)

later tonight i could take a screenshot of what it looks like, but i couldnt tell you why its even applied at all lol
