As someone who only plays Dark Elf characters, who reveres all things about the Great House Telvanni, and who still mods and updates Morrowind (combat has always sucked, that will never change and doesn't matter): Please, please leave House Telvanni alone. If the awful quests and mishmash disaster of the Telvanni area of the Vvardenfell expansion is any indication, the designers either do not know anything about Telvanni, or they actively dislike them. Please, go do Hammerfell - there's literally nothing there to mess up. Please leave the Telvanni peninsula alone.
Those players who don't know, or don't care, don't need or want further explanation about what I mean. Nor do those who do know, and do care - they know all about what I'm talking about.
I expect this to fall on deaf (or openly hostile) ears, but it needed to be said. RIP Telvanni.

You mean play the new arcanist class?

Nope Hammerfell is coming TES VI and I am sooo happy lol. They can't touch Redguard.

We are going to Necrom, but the zone was called Telvanni Peninsula in the teaser despite not even including the tip of the peninsula lol.

Telvanni expansion is fine, as long as I can use the Blade of Woe on as many of those stupid haughty slavers as possible.
My bounty is going to be so high, and it will be so worth it.
Yeah, but ESO proved that they can do non-nostalgia zones and it ended up being awesome. Like Elsweyr & Murkmire. New zones that we were never been able to visit in previous TES games and it ended up being one of the best zones in the game. Same with Wrothgar. Definitely not a "nostalgia" zone, but it was awesome.colossalvoids wrote: »Tommy_The_Gun wrote: »Well, the good news is that after yet another mini-morrowind expansion (with tiny RP element that kinda promotes passive aggression & slavery on zone chat)... we may have a Wood Elf, Redguard or Argonian zone next year. Nostalgia trip would probably continue if eso would deliver so lackluster chapters one after another, so Solstheim and Skingrad exploitation awaits.

Craglorn, the first (and free) DLC, was a Redguard DLC. The Argonian DLC was shared with the Imperials somewhat with the Blackwood DLC. So we're really just missing Bosmer.

I doubt we will get an expansive bosmer exclusive chapter if we even get one at all. The base game has covered Valenwood in its entirety with the grahtwood, greenshade and malabal tor zones that take up that entire region. There's no room left on the map to fit another zone in there.
I'd like to be proven wrong on this, but I don't see it happening without a complete map rework.
