    The bard class in EverQuest was awesome. Hardest class to master. Definitely the highest APM requirements. You had to juggle songs and instruments, and overlap as many as possible for maximum effect.

    Still don't get what's so bad about these bards. Neither the male nor female bard sounds that bad. They might not be some angelic perfection, but sure is better than the comparisons I've seen people do to them and a lot of people I've had the misfortune of hearing in real life.

    I find the nyckelharpa playing the worst part. Such a beautiful instrument sounding so dull.

    Not sure about the original English versions (which reminds me: I should check on Youtube), but in my translation, they definitively do sound horrible.

    The bard also doesn't move his lips when he's "signing". He just looks around like "Who's signing? Not me!"

    Sure he's not my favourite, but I think that's partly because of the songs and instrument playing. Still sings better than I do, though.

    I was rather shocked when I heard the bard in Gonfalon bay. I can't spend any time in that inn because of the bard.

    I think that's more to do with his voice not being right for the sea shanty songs he's trying to sing. He was just miscast for it, I think.

    The lady at Castle Navire is barely better, but I ADORE the bard in Vastyr.

    But, as others have pointed out, all three don't move their mouths when they sing! Why??

    I don't get this?

    Love ESO bards in general, but the Gonfalon one is pretty terrible. I often spend afk time near bards I like, but this is the only bard in the game I have to leave the area as the songs/singing is so bad to me.
