The White Stallion Inn, missed opportunity

So, i was out exploring in Blackwood, and came across the White Stallion Inn.

True, hard to miss it, as it is a Striking Local.

Such an ADORABLE little inn, two beds upstairs, building full of dogs and cats, a functioning inn-keeper, who, is very, very generous, in that she doesn't mind if you help yourself to anything she has.

The atmosphere is warm, charming, and relaxed. It has three tables where you could sit and enjoy all this... Only... you cannot SIT on the chairs.

i know this is an issue in MANY places in the game, where chairs are just there to tease you.... Because you cannot click to sit. It's SO aggravating.

More so in this little inn, though.

It is such a great little place to go in and RP, telling wild tales of adventures or whatever.

i know, we can pull up our own chairs to /sitchair in, however the fact you cannot auto sit in perfectly good provided chairs just kills me.

Shouldn't a Striking Local be fully equipped with useable chairs?

Chairs were probably claimed by the cats. Speaking of which, they should have put a dog in the inn named Ruffio
    @Djennku, PCNA.

Grand Master crafter, all styles and all furnishing plans known pre U41.
Vamp and WW bites available for players.
Shoot me an in-game mail if you need anything, happy to help!

This reminds me of how you could join the Knights of the White Stallion in Oblivion and it makes me wish that the Mages and Fighters Guilds in ESO were more robust. All non-player guilds actually. I kinda wish there were more to joining and that it really meant something.

There are many in, and around the inn, suppose one of them could be named that? :D

I totally agree! I bet some people would actually use these chairs/benches and it would benefit everyone since it gives a little roleplaying vibe. I would love to be able to sit at the fire on the undaunted tents too but they arent meant for sitting too sadly...

I'd really love to see some more polish like this. I started noticing it a lot more in Galen, which had so many great locales marred by the lack of interactive things like chairs and doors. Blackwood had a good mood to it, would be great to see some little sprucing up this year as a QoL adjustment.

Did an guild run in Moonhunter keep normal, hunting for chests we ran into an comfortable looking room, one sat down and the rest followed and we just shilled for some minutes before continuing.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

The fact you could SIT in instance chairs but not open (almost all) open world chairs hurts my soul.

Still, hearing you did that was wonderful! <3

i can't see why ZOS couldn't go into the game, tweak the code a small bit, that any item that is coded as a 'chair' has the ability to interact with it and sit. i can't see it being such a hard thing to do, that would make such a wonderfully positive impact on the game.

It always struck me as laziness to be honest, we used to be able to sit everywhere. Now you cant sit anywhere.

The guilds need some serious love. A guild expansion to flesh everything out would defintely be welcome.
