Signs over head of merchant and banker

Recently a huge gold-colored bag appeared over the merchant and a chest over the banker. How do I remove them? Is it part of EHT? Can we turn that off, it's pretty awful and shows through walls.

It’s part of EHT and you can indeed turn it off. I think it’s in add-on settings.
