Does the type of damage make a difference against specific mobs? I.e Cold does more damage to fire elementals.

Cheers.
If real life had a block function i would go out more.

Proud to have spent a year paying to BETA test ESO for consoles.

As far as I know, it only makes a difference to players. Vampires have weakness to fire, so I'm guessing maybe the vampire mobs have a weakness to that as well? It would make sense, but don't quote me on that.

Werewolves are weak against poison, dunmer are resistant to fire and bosmer + argonians are resistant to poison and disease.

It does make a difference against non-player enemies, too. Trolls and undead are more vulnerable to fire, etc. etc.

have you ever tried using a fire destruction staff against a flame atronach?

Once you do, I rest my case..

Some basement dweller needs to put in some serious hours writing wiki pages about each monster so we can know the numbers ^^

Thanks for the info chaps, suspected it would make a difference but it's hard to tell.

Thats the only problem with a new game like this, no detailed wiki :)
