i completed the green area and the blue one, havent killed the last boss in red. Don't think i can.

All i need to do now for the black dye is reset everything, then do red up to first boss, get the orb then go back and get the stuff in green.

BUT is it possible to reset VH at this point to do that? i've tried all the google suggestions and some of my own desperate flailings to no avail.

Have tried,

Leaving instance. Setting to vet, then back to normal. didnt work.
leaving instance, entering a public dungeon, then going back to VH. Didnt work.
waited over night. didnt work.
went to my house, then back to instance, didnt work.

    cancel quest, leave instance and wait around 5 min, maybe 10

    edit: just in case anyone else is new to all this and an idiot like me... you DO have to COMPLETE the whole red zone (end boss) to be able to get out and go to the green one.

    i may never get the dye at this point... i cant get past that stupid end boss. *Sigh*
