• EU megaservers for patch maintenance – March 9, 8:00 UTC (4:00AM EDT) - 16:00 UTC (12:00PM EDT)
• ESO Store and Account System for maintenance – March 11, 9:00AM EDT (13:00 UTC) - 1:00PM EDT (17:00 UTC)

Game tells me how to scry for antiquities all the time. How do I turn it off?

Maybe I'm dumb and missing something. Maybe this is the wrong board idk

It's annoying tho. Happens a lot when I enter the game or to a new area

    Is it some kind of background voice, that just goes on and on for minutes ?

    You can change the frequency of tips in your settings. (First time, all the time, etc.)

    Try turning 'Tutorials' off under Settings>Gameplay (scroll down to bottom of that list).

      Thanks for that. I heard one of those tutorials earlier this week, and wondered where the hell it was coming from. I just turned that option off.

      Still not working. It's the messages in the top left when I start the game and when I go to different zones.

      It's saying LESS now, but it still pops up telling me I can do it. So not as annoying

      So I guess it DID work, just not completely. Oh well it's ok I guess

      I love being shouted at by 45 NPCs trying to sell me on something - it truly is the real life market experience.

      It might help, when you have these kinds of issues, if you mention your platform in your thread title, or put it in your signature so it's always on display.
      PC and Console behave differently in a lot of ways, and people may make suggestions to you that won't work because you play on a different platform than they do.
      But if they know your platform beforehand, maybe they won't make a suggestion that doesn't apply to you.

        I did a support ticket for this and they said to complete the objective. I did, or at least I scryed one object fully and dug it up and whatnot, but this still pops up every time I load the game and go to different zones. It's very annoying

        So.. yeah still trying to figure out how to get rid of it

        I see this type of display, not for scrying at (least that I remember) but they always go away on their own. Maybe you have some permanent display tip settings turned on?
