    Blinding Flashes was very, very situational, and you could actually live without it perfectly. Nonetheless, I don't like seeing it go. I guess I was still waiting for the right changes on the skill to squeeze all the defensive potential it had, specially having in mind they had 1 free slot in the morph that was totally useless.

    But anyways, I'm sure there are more nice changes coming up that we don't know, and maybe they balanced the defensive bit Templars are losing with Blinding Light, like merging the former effect of Blinding Light with Blazing Spear or a revamped Javelin, which actually would be great.

    Regarding the new skill, I think it's fine it's channeled. It will shine in PvE endgame mostly, which is where Templars' dps needs a boost.

    Those claiming Blinding Flashes is useless have clearly not used it in PVP. It was always fun to pop flashes and charge in, making your enemies miss left and right. I'll miss it, but I'll need more details to know whether or not the replacement spell will be worth it for me.

    It really does boggle the mind how much they love their Dragonknights.
    DKs are ESO's main USP, everything else class-wise is totally generic.

    i´m ok with the change but the actual dmg numbers are wonky.
    while normally spamming lA+crushing shock i generated a higher dps than with the channeld executioner against mobs at <30% life...
    spelling and grammar errors are free to be abused

    I really liked blinding flashes for trash tanking alot of mobs, and now its gone...
    & we get e channeled execute... meh thats not really helpfull for a tank

    People have a problem with Radiant Oppression, we could always take it back to Vanilla.

    Yeah, I wouldn’t be opposed to the reversal. Although it would be nice to see it in tandem w/a Dark Brotherhood active skill line next year that could bring an execute.

    Blinding Flashes was so much better!

    Nearby enemies got a 50% chance to miss all of their attacks for 6 seconds!

    Edit: By that I mean it was really bad and that Radiant Oppression is way better in every way, shape, and form and that the only possible way to balance this ability would be to revert it to Blinding Flashes an obviously worse ability. ;)

    Yeah soul assault is so oppressive when built as a glass canon.

    My tooltip on my PvP build is 138k.

    That's with 7.5-8k spell damage
    21k spell pen
    37% crit
    30% crit damage
    All static these numbers are up always with vamp stealth passive. It hits like a meteor is dropped every second on ur target for 6 seconds.

    My tooltip for RD is 22k!

    Also bring back Empower pre-changes so that next attack is boosted by 50% , that was cool.

    Maybe make it less accessible as a counter balance.

    Shards could only stun one target per cast even though the damage is AoE. I would've been awesome if it was an actual AoE stun. The jabs snare was ok-ish in PvP but not really useful in, say, a tank scenerio where you need to CC a pack of mobs quickly to keep the group from getting nuked. The untauntable wolves in MHK for example

    Yeah, Shards used to be a “Disorient,” a stun that went through block, it was extremely good, I honestly don’t know why they made that change to remove it.

    Honestly, it’s good to get this ability back in people’s headspace, it’s one of those forgotten gems that all of these new players haven’t heard of and a little history isn’t exactly a bad thing, especially when the replacement to the ability keeps getting calls for nerfs.

    It might be time to look back into the original ability as a solution? People will never be happy with how much damage Radiant Oppression does, due to the fact that it’s a channel, and is receiving a damage boost to compensate for being locked into the ability.

    The system ZOS uses to balance abilities is very vague, if people knew how much added scaling per second a channel receives vs an instant cast in general terms, it might alleviate that, but I doubt that even with clarification, people would be happy.

    Early version of the jabs had a stun tied to the last tick. As for shards being true AoE well I think it would be slightly too much since it was a delayed stun.
