PVP target dummy please

A dummy we can set all the resistances - physical, crit, spell etc and % damage mitigation from cp. Or just a baseline, for example: 25k physical and spell resists, 2000 crit resists & 5% damage mitigation.

A customizable manikin is even better.

PvP trial dummy: just dodge rolls around a resource tower on an infinite loop

I don't really see the point to be honest. All pvp players don't have the same health, resistances, or impen anyway. What you're really comparing is how hard this gear let's you hit -v- how hard that gear let you hit. You're comparing the numbers-- it doesn't matter what the numbers actually are.

to go along with this, if you are say practicing a gank combo, when your in your house you would never experience say the massive lag spikes in the heat of battle in cyrodiil

need more practice vs the lag than practice hitting the target lol

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

feel free to stop by and use the facilities

You almost lost me at "pvp players dont have the same health" tbh. Most meta builds over the last 3 years that Ive been playing have a similar baseline, you can literally timeline builds from eso pvp content creator to support what Im saying.

    Most of these build have:

    20-30k resists
    1500-2500 crit resists
    5-20% damage mitigation from cp

So you saying a dummy with similar values would have no use?

I'd pay for battle spirit dummies. I'd buy one in squishy, one in "good build" and one in tank.

A customisable dummy would be great for PVE too. I really want a trial dummy with less health to test different setups and killing the 21m each time is giving me RSI.

I don’t see them making a “PvP Target Dummy” as they have the ability to duel in the game, and the vast majority of players do their testing on friends.

After pvping for 3+ year making close to 100 builds, the constant scrolling your friends list - to whisper "Hey bro, can I test something on you?" gets really old quick, old not only are people busy playing the content they enjoy most of my friends list arent pvp'ers.

Put one in the crown store, more money for Zos and happier players. win/win.

My idea for the target dummy would be like a furnishing of say a platform 28 meters with a few obstacles on it and for a PVP dummy to run around in some sort of a random pattern to practice your burst on a more like a real person while moving.

Also put a switch we can activate for the dummy to stop for those that want to practice on a still build. And another switch to make it move faster. For the speed runners in PVP areas. Also add some kind of pulse damage from the dummy.

    Stay safe :)

I'm saying I don't see how it'd have more use than a regular dummy. I don't disagree that most good pvp builds are similar. Here's what I'm saying:

I'm a pvper who wants to practice their rotation. I practice on a regular dummy at first and my 3 skill kill combo does 10-15-20k damage for a total of 45k. I practice on a trial dummy and it does 15-20-25k because of trial buffs for a total of 60k. I practice on a pvp dummy and only do 5-10-15k for a total of 30k.

Now I change gear because I'm not happy with the results. I hit the regular dummy again with new gear and I do 15-20-25k. I already have my answer. I don't need to hit the pvp dummy. Nor did I need to hit all 3, it just made for a good example.

Good for you dude, myself personally I'd like a dummy that doesn't include the guess work, a dummy that includes pvp buffs also, a dummy once in your combat with put you in battle spirit to test your healing, able to proc rallying etc.

I dont understand why people push back on these ideas, yes the idea is a little rough on conception but being a pvp'r like yourself add your opinion on what might make it viable - not shoot it down. I would understand the push back if had to do with combat/class balancing because it might effect you. But this dummy doesn't effect anyone beside the person who pays for it, and I'd be happy to for the convenience.

Zos can put another thing their crown store, make some money & some players like me would be happy. Win/win.

@OBJnoob Thanks man, I often see this on the forum & wonder why people push back on ideas that are win/win - I somewhat understand now, and I myself enjoy a debate sometimes also.

Happy holidays, Lets hope 2023 is a better year for us pvp'rs & the whole community!
