I was wondering if ESO will ever catch up with the times and improve the water texture of rivers and SPECIALLY the seas and ocean. I was expecting that we would finally see something like that in this current chapter as it was supposedly dedicated to pirates and isles. Devs might have no idea how awful is to go nearby a completely calm shore and listen to a soundclip of waves pretending to be real waves crashing.

I was exploring High Isle yesterday to find the place where the Chapter illustration was. I found out it was behing the All Flags Isle. I got a bit sad to spot the difference between the art and an in-game screenshot even in 4k and max distance view. But anyway, right before that spot was a river. And it was the first time ever, I saw a river with ACTUAL river textures. Rivers are very hard to spot in old zones. I forgot how many times I was mistaking lakes for rivers when trying to fish in old zones.
I bring this subject up because having waves isn't something new to the games. Shin Megami Tensei 4 and Resident Evil Revelations on Nintendo 3DS have it. SKYRIM have it! With mods, yeah, but have it.

I should even mention how bad it looks to have ships stationed in the maps like they were eternal rocks. Warcraft allow you to jump on them and navigate between many zones. What about
underwater exploration? When I saw a trailer with it in High Isle preview, I thought we were finally getting something new, not just walk 20 steps inside a bubble in a random dungeon.
We should be able to explore underwater like it was possible in TES III, IV AND V. I think it is about time we get a graphical revamp, if Zenimax intend to have this game relevant next year. Seriously.
