It would be foolish of them not to.
They consistently used to be able to get fixes out much sooner before Stadia came along.
They need to return to that cadence once Stadia isn't holding things up any more.
Patches need to be tested, and therein lies the problem. They need more time for testing and rework so that the patch is correct, fixes what it is supposed to fix, and does not introduce new problems. If anything, they need to slow down patch updates until they can manage to do this. Limp mode. After that, they can look at ways of increasing frequency.
It sounds simple but reverting to a previous patch means removing all the content released with and after that patch. To to it without removing everything requires finding the specific cause/issue and determining the solution. I expect (hope) Zenimax is working on that now but is not always easy and fast. Certainly not as easy or fast as we would hope.
