✭✭✭✭✭The real question is how far you took your character in each game. There really was no cap on damage dealt in TES 3, so I’d want the Nerevarine as a companion. But I would want to be TES 4’s CoC with 100% reflects and full chameleon.
Yeah, my nerevarine could fly and shoot ice/shock/fire balls that one-shotted just about any enemy from orbit. Morrowind combat was frankly comical. In the beginning a rat could end your day in a hurry, once you figure out how to abuse the spellcrafting, enchanting, and alchemy system, you could obliterate entire towns from 50 feet in the air.0 -

For the Vestige he body is made of ethereal ectoplasm from coldharbour/oblivion. We should be reforming in coldharbour naked with no gear everytime we die but that from a gaming standpoint would be annoying. The Vestige is most likely a paragon spontaneously created by Nirn to defend itself during a time of great strife. That they are not daedric is an important plot element of Blackwood and Fargrave, as they explicitly interact with items that would banish a daedra, forcing it to reform. The property that lets them reform is more likely to be an anuic valence that they have due to their creation. It is more likely that when Molag Bal stole your soul, what he did was change where it was permanently attuned to be in his own realm, trapping you forever. When you get your soul back, you become permanently attuned to Nirn. The first skyshard you absorb in the tutorial is what grants you temporary attunement to Nirn until you get your soul back. This is also why the Vestige can use wayshrines.
The Vestige cannot be killed and can't be banished using techniques that would banish Daedra, as the vestige is not daedric. This is the canonical unique property of the Vestige, not merely a gameplay element.
