Game doesn't keybind " § " key

On my Macbook Pro, above the tab key there is " § " key, left of the " 1 " key, I've been trying to keybind it for switching weapons but it doesn't read it. However, I can type it in chat.

Does anyone else have the same problem ?

Yes, I have the same problem, probably because of the non english keyboard layout, since 'tilde' key on my keyboard is next to 'Z' key and not next to '1' key...
This is not the first game that can't bind '§' key.

Same for PC client. It can not be used to bind whatever the language keyboard in ESO generally.

There are a few other keys currently that can't be bound (some right side modifier keys) which should be fixed soon which are Mac specific.

It depends on keyboard language. That button below the esc key varies in function.

Unless you use legal terms much it's not a symbol ever really used. it's the section sign (signum sectionis)

I managed to work around this problem by setting my input language to English then remapping the key using KeyRemap4MacBook. Once I had its mapped in the game I could go back to using my native norwegian layout.
