It turns out that the Torug's Pact set (whilst wearing 5 pieces) is what gave me increased attack speed; I assume this is a bug. I would also like to say that I think the current "10%" bonus to attack speed is completely unnoticable and does not add anything to the player that has this ability. I think this should be buffed by a very large amount or replaced with a different bonus.
