PS5 Cyrodiil Completely Unplayable

I am so tired of complaining, I gave up years ago but I have to say this now. I just came back after a year break because Cyrodiil pvp was completely unplayable. Unsurprisingly, Cyrodiil pvp is still completely and utterly unplayable. I would say that it's worse now than ever before, which makes no sense since I'm playing with the best setup I can for console.
Noteworthy pretenses: PS5, wired connection, fastest available internet 1.5g speed, all wi-fi's in home turned off, wired controller, best available ethernet cable, performance mode
(so don't tell me to "check my internet connection" zos)
[Snip]
- skills do not fire
- when pressing a skill, character seizures in place while I watch helplessly as character dies
- if lucky, skill will fire after 4-7 button presses, by which time I'm long dead or target is gone
- why would I bother logging in? for the same mounts to be reskinned 47 times?
- please for the love of god, make Cyrodiil pvp playable
- I can't imagine forfeiting 8 years of progress to switch to PC [Snip]
- I don't have any hope for this left, I'm shouting into the void
- What the [snip]?

Cyrodiil has always been such a great place, but you're right. It's become very difficult to play. I kept going back to try it out on stream, but I was having the same issues. I would tell my viewers that I was pressing buttons, and you could see the buttons being pressed on the skill display, but nothing would happen.
For U35 ZOS changed the animation of jabs which helped with the message rate to the server, but I don't understand why things are more difficult now to play than they were prior to U35. I am not an expert by any sense, and I am not a ZOS basher, but it's getting frustrating that I have a similar setup of a wired PS5 with expensive internet that runs my PC account perfectly. All of this to be frustrated on stream and go find something else because it isn't worth being bitter in front of my wonderful community.
I understand that the server replacement isn't expected for consoles until after the PCEU server replacement, but is there anything that could be done in the meantime that may improve the playability even just a little? Maybe something like lowering the distance people can see in Cyrodiil or something visual might be a helpful temporary boost to improving playability.

✭It's not just ps5 I'm xbox eu with likewise set up and don't even go to cyro any more it's not worth it, being that's it's unplayable with all the things you have mentioned. The population is a fraction if the size it was years ago and for some reason it was better back then.1 -

Alekero✭✭✭Id say there not so many ppl anymore so tech issues kinda...who cares now? If you only run into 9-12 ppl now instead of 40+ back in the days. ZOS dont give a hood completely so i think they might turn it off, make Cyro a new chapter area and make something new and playable. Up to date even.
