Does Nirncrux drop from Craglorn Quests

Can I get Nirncrux from doing Craglorn dailies?

I have never seen one drop as a reward from Craglorn daily. I have rarely gotten them from harvesting crafting nodes. Folks have claimed online that they have rarely gotten them from killing creatures that drop leather, like Welwa.

Nirncrux drops from resource nodes, as well as sources of leather. There is a quest in the craglorn main story that rewards you a nirnhoned item you can use for research, which was how players originally learned that trait.

Nirncrux show up [rng] from wood, ore, and fiber nodes, or things that will give you "fiber" items. I was rather surprised to get one off a welwa along with the leather scrap. Runes and alchemy nodes, no.

nirn trait materials come from the nodes

now if you are looking for research items to sell, you get 1 piece of gear with nirn trait after finishing the craglorn main story quests

You can get them as traits for Dragonstar Arena weapons. Got one last week.

Nirn is pretty cheap in the Guild Stores these days. You could farm Gold earning items and buy them.

Now, Nirn does drop from certain Event Reward Boxes, so it can drop from Dailies. I think they are the boxes related to crafting activities.

I have gotten Nirncrux on multiple occasions from killing Welwa.

@Nestor really? I have been shopping at the wrong places.
Also need to do a little research on some missing items!

I've only gotten from armor jewelry and clothing nodes.... never enchanting.

Nirncrux only drops from the nodes that provide the other materials you use it with. It doesn’t get used in alchemy or enchanting, so it doesn’t drop from those nodes. But you can get Potent from cloth nodes, so it’s not quite that simple a rule.
