A monetization idea for ZoS

First, this idea is not mine, so credit where it’s due… (rogue I think?)

When ‘clearing’ a dungeon how about we get the option to buy that dungeon as a house? Make that purchase ability one of the perks of the clear. I know I would pay a pretty penny for WGT :)

The architecture is already in the game in the form of the dungeon, and it’s already instanced, so it shouldn’t be that hard to port out the option to buy it…

    I don't think anyone could even fully furnish them if the cap would remain 700, but sounds like an.... interesting idea.

    Moonhunter Keep, Castle Thorn, and other similar dungeons that have nice architecture, houses, and rooms would be nice to own, although they'd make the current houses we have now look tiny and pathetic.

    Why own Bastion Sanguinaris when I can own Castle Thorn? Also have to deal with the fact the dungeons have a beginning and an end point, which might bug people and make the houses feel linear.

    Don't think it will ever happen and like was said above, they are too big you wouldn't have enough slots and it would be strange if your player home became a subject of an undaunted pledge.

    Monsters will respawn at no extra cost.

    I would however like the option to turning existing houses into dungeons in a sense. If they gave us traps and mobs we could place in our house. The only way to kill over players in your house is with slaughterfish, murkmire crown crate plants or fall damage.

    I don't know if they could make mirror dungeons with no mobs, and even if they could, how many people would be interested in something like that, because furnishing them would be impossible, but I like how you think OP because I also love WGT :smile:

    I get where you're coming from. I would probably go with "part" of the dungeon though. You get the Boss fight room etc but the access to the rest could/would be boarded up to limit the size.

    We have a few precedents: the second wing of the Hall of the Lunar Champion is in Moongrave Fane, Hakkvild's High Hall, which is right next to Falkreath Hold (an early bug allowed players to breach the house's boundaries and actually get into the dungeon) and Frostvault Chasm.
