As it says in the hints under the quest goal, when you have it as your active quest.

(At least, that's how it was for me. There on the right side of the screen "Kill Grey Host Champion" or whatever the actual words were, and then under it small text saying that it was a delve or PD end boss.)

Well it's a little confusing because why would like... a chaurus or falmer or sea giant boss be a grey host champion? They're not vampires are they? I read the quest journal, but was looking at the delves and their bosses and thinking what? really? is there going to be some new thing that'll spawn in any delve I go into now or what?

I just went and killed the boss in Labyrintian but yeah, it doesn't make much sense story wise.

Yeah. That was my initial thought. And then I realized they meant the bosses of that delve. And then I was annoyed it meant that and tried to remember if there was an actual vampire that I could kill. Then I was like I can't remember because it's been a while, I'll just double it up with my delve daily.
