Quest NPCs not fighting?

I am on an AD quest with the high elf queen and we are trying to kill Norion. After a time she stops fighting and just stands there. Does this mean she has been defeated or is this a bug?

If she has been defeated shouldn't there be some sort of subtle signal, such as her screaming and collapsing to the floor with a loud thud and clatter?

Sweetie, can you show us on the doll where the bad man from Blizzard touched you?

An NPC who is out of health will stand or kneel in place for a little bit until they can get back into the fight. It's not a bug, they just chose to not have NPCs actually be "defeated" during a fight where they need to live.

It is a bug, an animation bug. I imagine because of latency issues, she should be in a kneeldown state, but appears standing because of lag.

Assuming they even bothered with a kneeldown state. It could very well be intentional for time-constraints in development time. It does look awkward, but it is what it is. Not really a breaker, but it does make it hard to tell if said NPC is still in fighting-shape or not.

There is also a bug(I again, assume because of latency) where the NPC or even, sometimes enemy humanoids will appear just standing upright with their weapons on their back/unsheathed. But they still "hurt" you as if they were in their proper combat stance.
