Blazing Spear invalid location

I've noticed only recently that this has been a problem that I have encountered. When you cast blazing spear on any platform that you build in a house, it glitches out and says invalid location. You can't build a platform for a parse dummy because it would cause an Inaccuracy on the parse.

This is also an issue with leap skills like DK's ultimate. My partner once leaped us both through the floor of a dueling platform.
Artificial platforms (made of things that the game doesn't respect as being "floors") can also cause problems with ground-based abilities such as Rune Focus and Ritual.
I believe it's also related to the issue where crafting stations can become unusable when they are placed on platforms, even if they worked initially and haven't been moved. The game is not loading them properly with respect to the pieces players have used as "floors."0
