what is the current install size for a fresh install of ESO. How much free HD space do I need to install the game today?

✭Around 112 GB for a steam version install. I've seen some people say it's as small as 80GB for a non-steam version, while some have closer to 120GB. Lots of folks unintentionally install the PTS and the live version and end up with 160+gb.
My Xbox One Install is 95.1 GB, so I'd aim for somewhere in that range if you aren't running many addons or have a non-steam version.- Tybalt Kaine Khajiit Nightblade Aldmeri Dominion

the installer says I need 125 gb to install I have 144 on my c drive but then it stops during the install and tells me i don't have enough room.
so wtf zos. fix your damn game.0
