Why does the notification window not hold a section for "Patch Notes"?

We've got this neat pop up window that jumps straight into our camera when logging in.
Or when we travel from one zone to another after the shop got updated.
Basically everytime anything happens to the shop.

...But if we want to read the patch notes, we can't do that ingame and need to visit the forums instead.
I find it odd that we've got the necessary tools but all it's used for is the shop. (+ events, but those are also entwined with the shop).

I'd welcome it if we could squeeze some patch notes in there. Or maybe even a small section for emergency messages just as the bright red one right now in the forums.
I bet a lot more people would see those and be alerted about current issues. Or be intrigued to learn about their classes current stats and changes right ingame.

Personally, no thank you. The announcements aren't anything I want on my screen at all, either the monster popup OR the annoying scrolling banner. There's a perfectly good patch notes forum section for a reason - look at the length of the latest ones. Do you really want all that on the game screen?

I wouldn't mind a patch notes tab under the help section or the announcements section. It doesn't need to be a giant banner filling the screen, but being able to click over to it to read in game would be nice.

In form of the same window we see in the login section or right after logging in for the first time, yes.
With a scroll bar. And a neat little button that just let's me skip things if I don't want to read them.

And I find that patch notes right ingame can hold a convenient side effect. They might help new players grasping the game if they got something to look at. They might show players the amount of changes that are made to fight the misbelief of "Zos doesn't care". Also, I remember how I was pointed at this forum by another player on a discord server, while the game itself didn't seem to happen any clear arrow pointing at this forum right here.

an option to see the patch notes in game is fine, or a redirect to the forums. it's +1 thing to do but it's not going to break the camel's back.

if a common crash error has been identified, it would also be more helpful to redirect people to a support page which details why the crash is happening and how to prevent it.
