I'd like to discuss about this companion perk. I think that this perk is inconsistent, because when you pickpocket a NPC you always get something, then you will fence this item and you get gold. If you get a wallet instead of an item, where is the benefit ? I gain more or less the same amount of gold, either opening the wallet or fencing the stolen item. If Ember wanted to give us a benefit, she would have to give the wallet in addition to the regular stolen item, not as a replacement. What do you think about this ??

eleuthera91✭✭✭I absolutely agree, always said the same thing; if I am farming something that can only be found pickpocketing that perk is the worst; and like all others 3 companions perks, this one should ADD the coin, not give it INSTEAD of!3 -

✭✭Is this a bug or is it intended to be this way? If its intentional it seems like its more of a liability than a perk.
I dont have Ember's Intuition yet, but if this is intentional it may be better to pass on it altogether.0 -

✭✭imagine if you open a treasure chest and all you get is mirri's perk.
kinda feels the same way. however, we are capped at how many stolen goods we can sell/launder so that is the benefit to ember. Still, it's not a lot of money and isn't gamebreaking to put the wallet in addition to whatever we steal.1 -

✭✭I haven't bothered leveling Ember until I can know for certain her passive will not be a permanent nerf to my account. Bastian's Insight is almost as bad imo since it doesn't supply a practical amount of potions and ends up being inventory fodder. Sure you can sell the potions for gold but I'd rather not have more inventory fodder than a few extra gold.0 -

✭✭I agree, you should get the hidden wallet on top of what you pickpocket off someone, I usually get around 130 gold per wallet, but there was one time I got a little over 1000 from one.0 -
