Roles for Houseguest

I was working on my new House (which will become a RP Tavern for my guild) and I was thinking would it not be cool if Jakarn was the Bartender...that got me thinking that Houseguest would be a lot more immersive and useful if you could assign roles to them...I'm sure this has been discussed before, but regardless it would be a cool feature....Jarkarn as a Bartender...Prince Irnskar as a Guard and have it so you can assign different roles to different guests.

I wonder how plausible it would be...

Thoughts?

I am not against the idea of house guest roles, I am just not understanding the purpose.
What would say a guard "do" that would be different than what the houseguest is doing already (for example)? You can't commit crimes in houses (at least not that I know of), so would it be just dialogue options?

A bartended house guest is an interesting concept, but I always thought our current barmaid should be able to act like a minor merchant, with a selection of "white" level drinks to buy. Is that what you mean as a bartender?

Would also be nice if you could change their outfits. Assign emotes to them and it would be nice to have "monster" house guests so you could make a dungeon or guards.

I don't know that ZOS is willing to pay for extra lines of dialogue for them, though that would incentivize people who haven't bought them yet to want them more, but using roles to set animations would be awesome. The animations already exist, and assigning a role would change the idle animations of the houseguests. I would love to have my houseguests be able to sit, have a beer or a meal, read a book, do crafting animations at my crafting tables, etc.

Don't you expect too much from your furniture?

It would be nice if we could set them to use emotes, as well as walking around.

Asking players if they expect too much is pretty much what's wrong with games in general...

If we could give the Guests emotes, most the Role Activities would be covered. Even without those, we could use pathing to make the Guest move around the bar back area.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

I just want them to be able to do at least a few emotes and use interactable items like chairs. That will do a lot and make them cover "roles".
