Game Crashing before Login Screen

The game Crashes before it gets to the login screen. I have done all the suggested fixes that I have read up on on the forums—antivirus exceptions, Drivers, VIsual app repairs, and installs. Removed all addons.
At this rate will not collect the daily at all for weeks..through no fault of my own. And hopefully, I won't get kicked from my trader guild for the inactivity...

[NEW] Crash to desktop before loading into the game
We're investigating an issue where you crash to the desktop before loading into the game, with no error messages or crash reporters. We anticipate this being fixed in the incremental patch scheduled for November 14.

L33T_BEANS✭✭✭Is there a way to turn off /encounterlog through editing game files? I turned it on --> crashed to desktop --> now I can't log into the game on my desktop computer.
I can log in with my laptop though which makes me wonder if there is some client setting file that has a different config than my laptop's config file.0 -
