The absurd rule that prevents people getting a drop from a world boss that they have been actively present and fighting for, should be scrapped at once. GIVE US THE LOOT WE DESERVE.
Just because you're not in the top 10-12 damagers when there are 40 people there means you're frozen out of actually being able to get loot from it, especially if some of said damagers are exploiting the dragonknight glitch that we already know about.
Make world bosses behave like Elsweyr dragons - if you're there and you damage it, you get the loot!
That has already been fixed.(...) if some of said damagers are exploiting the dragonknight glitch that we already know about.(...)
You still get credit for completing the area even if you don't get loot, and frankly, there's no good reason to shut people out of the loot.
And you don't get "100 level 10s standing at the sidelines not helping and doing 1 light attack at the end for credit" with dragons - and there are only five of those - so you wouldn't get that for World Bosses, of which there are a lot more.
basically, it's a "solution" to a problem which does not even exist, and even if it existed as a phenomenon, wouldn't be a problem.

Its not an absurd rule.. without youd have 100 lvl10's standing at the side lines not helping and doing 1 light attack at the end for credit.

honestly the main incentive to even farm a WB at all is antiquity leads (and in this case 1 of the new tales of tribute deck fragments)

It IS an absurd rule because it gives support no chance at loot. Needs to check other criteria than raw damage.
Actual;ly its funny you mention dragons because that particularly the mob I had in mind and you DO have 10 lvl 10's hanging in the trees and running in at the end only...

Someone mentioned in game a fragment or lead drops from the new worldbosses in Galen.
People like me will need to wait till the zone will get less populated to be able to farm bosses.

it is. Because not everyone plays a damage dealer meaning if you're a tank you can easily miss out on loot and have no chance at getting it with a large enough group of people.

kind of answered why you might see a lot of low levels around. The bosses are crowded now because of the new antiquity lead. If loot dropped for all that were in area players would park a character there to try for the lead. It might not always be a low level but you know it would happen like when people parked characters near dolmans long ago.
A couple of weeks from now (probably not that long) it won't be an issue either way. Just like the treasure chests that dropped the lead. All kinds of uproar about that lead for the first few days and then nothing.

why would anyone use a lowbie to farm a lead in the first place? they wouldnt have any of the antiquity skill line leveled likely so they would have to change toons to go scry and dig it up anyway
if anything the 50 people farming the WB are all upper level toons (either a main running the content, and/or the toon that has antiquities leveled)
and then as you said once people get the leads the activity will go back to more normal levels

Because, my main characters actually do stuff that causes them to move around. I can just dump a lowbie at a location for a couple weeks and try once or twice a day for a lead.
