I've had no crashes, disconnections, rollbacks or other problems playing on both PC EU and NA servers, on both my Win7 and Win10 machines (at different times). Then again, I don't use addons. I've done overland content including a delve plus a fair bit of zoning. I've seen a lot of other players too.

I only made the painful choice to rebuild on the PC (from the PS4) due to addons. I do not want to give them up when that is the only reason I walked away from so many Crowns and progress.

I crashed 3 times to the desktop trying to do dailies on EU. I did manage to finish them on both NA and EU after disabling all addons, but the experience sucked. Almost impossible to open chests as well! No haptic feedback from the controller and the visual feedback is much too delayed.

Ditto for me, though I have 76 addons enabled. Did all my swapping around for riding training on both PC servers, then did all my swapping around for crafting on both PC servers - all 3 accounts on both.

Working fine for me. And a lot of people online at least in the instances my characters were in.

And I've been reading the forum all day. It doesn't matter - I and many others are not having the issues some of you are having. Vivec has been full to overflowing all day, and so has Vastyr. I have not had one issue today. Period. You are certainly free to call me a liar, but I'll just laugh at you at that point.

So you're attacking players if they say they aren't experiencing problems that other players are? And yes, clearly and undeniably insinuating that someone's credibility is questionable because their experiences aren't the same as yours is an attack.

Not everyone uses addons, and frequently when a lot of players report problems following an update it turns out to be due to one or more addons, such that the creators of those addons need to post updated versions. Different players may have different experiences from each other after a major update if some of them are using addons but the others are not.

Among players who do use addons, not everyone uses the same addons. If only a few select addons are relevant to an issue that's occurring after an update, players who use addons might not experience the problems that other players are having.

Just because any given player says that the game is running fine FOR THEM does not mean they're claiming that anyone who says the game isn't running fine FOR THEM isn't credible.

Login queues don't neccesarilly mean 10 of thousands of players are trying to log in, just an unusually large amount are logging in all at the same time (when the game goes live after a patch for instance) as opposed to a normal day where logins are staggered. If left unchecked the login servers are essentially ddos'd and everyone will have troubles logging in.

I agree, plus when the developers ask for player information on an issue it's just as important for them to hear the circumstances of those who haven't experienced the issue as it is for them to hear from those who suffer from the issue. That way they get a balanced response and can narrow down the cause and find a remedy.

I only ever see a queue to log in when the game is having problems, so I suspect it's because the developers reduce how many people can be logged into each server (individual servers I mean, not megaservers) to reduce demand on each one, which slows down the process of logging in.

Also when there's just been a patch or a server-side crash you'll have a lot of people trying to log in at the same moment, whereas even at normal peak times it will be more spread out. Think of everyone crowding into a shop at the start of a big sale vs. on a normal busy day - they might all fit in once they've gotten through the door and spread out but at first it will be a crush.

I haven't been home long enough to log in since Monday night, so I'm kind of curious to see how things will go this evening. I don't normally have many problems with ESO, but from what I've seen on the forum I'm assuming that might not be the case tonight.

Don't believe people who say the game is dying, it isn't.
