in light of the constant crashes, will the event be extended?

I have had issues all day with logging in and random crashes, making it difficult to get out of the city and do the event, why a patch wasn't pushed till after the event is baffling. will we get an extension in the event time?

✭✭Just disable NodeDetection library (or all addons) and if you are not unlucky (as not being able to get in gaem at all) you can try grab your tickets and log off before crash & rollback.Edited by rpa on November 1, 2022 7:21PM0 -

Still crashed repeatedly a lot trying to log in on alts and refresh the 100% buff, had to disable all addons.Just disable NodeDetection library (or all addons) and if you are not unlucky (as not being able to get in gaem at all) you can try grab your tickets and log off before crash & rollback.
My objectives tomorrow is to do one dolmen for the last 2 tickets.
That is if they don't do something like take down the servers before the daily reset for patching.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.0 -

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

belial5221_ESO✭✭✭✭✭I disabled nodedetection,and things were fine on EU.I logged into NA and all was fine til I ported to Galen,it crashed,now I can't login on that char cause it crashes every time.

i dont think its "all" addons that are causing the problem, as noted in the pinned thread its seems to be limited to ones that use the "NodeDetection" library
im assuming this is something like harvest map or similar addons
when i get home later im going to probably preemptively just disable that library and then accept whatever is disabled due to the missing dependency until its fixed lolplays PC/NA

They never learn. "We are geeks, we know what we do"...
And when peeps say, "oh, it is just a couple of minutes" or "just a few hours and everything will be fine", gives me goosebumps... I know hard hard is to keep working, seemingly imperceptibly, a massive server...
Eventually the geeks will realize, that deploying untested and unverified crap jobs, 2 days before ending any event, is a stoopid idea.
Until then, i'm gonna play along, so they gotta think i believe the crappy explanation on whatsoever fault...3 -

✭✭ESO has a history of chaotic updates (remember Greymoor's launch?), but this year has been unusually messy. If I remember correctly, the only release that went more or less smoothly was the second dungeon DLC (though, on the other hand, that one brought the despised U35).Imperial DK and Necro tank. PC/NA

definitely dont have to disable ALL addons, the only one i had which used the broken library was harvestmap, soon as i disabled that (the library) i didnt instantly crash after 30 sec and had no issues the rest of the night running my other 40 addons (and doing 2 vet trials and such)
the other note they had about this is that this library issue wont be fixed for like at least 2 weeksplays PC/NA
