Losing progress in new zone after crash

I know the game is crashing a lot and there are already posts about it. But are people also losing the progress they made during the crashes? I know I crashed and had a rollback of about 5 minutes, including having to retune some attuneables. Each time my husband crashes it removes wayshrines and anything else he has discovered.
