Kill Rada in Kingdom of Ash - Final Battle ? - Unable to complete

I am sure this is not working as intended for me, I kill the spawn, but nothing happens, I literally had to "kill him" by normal DPS, all 10million, he then is on 0 HP and won't die.

Something is said about the " energy from greyspawn" being released but nothing happens.

I could have missed something,

All help appreciated if I am doing something wrong or any ideas how to fix.

I reset the encounter 3 times and nothing changed.

I am sure many have finished the quest line, when it say's - " the energy must be released", what should you do or what should happen ?

What is meant to happen and did it work as intended for you?

Had the same problem. There was no indication of what should happen. No clues, no queues. Verandis occasionally said stuff I couldn't hear over the rest of the action, and there were zero interactable things besides Rada. When other enemies showed up they were just enemies. No quest hints beyond "kill Rada."

Boring slog, with no reward at the end.

If it's working as designed, it's a terrible design. If it's a bug, it's in the worst possible place.

It is bugged after the first time Verandis perform the ritual.
HE doesnt perform it for the second time.
IT is like him and Lyris are bugged as they do not move or perform any action.

I can't tell you what specific part made a difference but I'm thinking one issue might be running past everything??

I kill Rada twice.. the hard way.. never quite getting it to work right.. In both cases, I was impatient and just ran/horse past the trash..

The third time, I dragged Lyris along, killed the trash, and got to the end. Appears Lyris lays around the whole time but this attempt, the boss did spawn waves of three adds, the Count made some bubble shield after killing the adds, used the bubble to dps the boss, 3ish cycles and boom it was dead..

Maybe not getting Lyris to the area breaks the quest??

Hit the boss till he spawns adds, kill all the adds and then Verandis will create a trap around him. Get in the bubble he creates and lure the boss inside to take damage from the trap. Repeat...

Except it doesn't work like that. He never spawned any adds after the first round. I had to solo him all the way from 75%HP to 0 with Lyris laying on the ground the entire time and Verandis standing still doing nothing. At 50% he completely froze and I just stood there whacking him to death though. The fight itself took about an hour to complete.

Thought id run through the reach on a new character, turns out the finale quest is still bugged at the boss battle. Theres no guarantee he'll actually die even if i bother to chip away at him.And Verandis will either stand there doing nothing in a limp pose or stand there with his staff doing nothing while Lyris is pinned to the ground. What a sad state 🙁 please fix, and no there never is a field, ill try again tomorrow

It is September 2022 and somehow the glitch is still there.

Got him down to zero health and Rada's spirit just floats there, screaming.

Fully reloaded the game, the spirit is gone and Rada has 1 health. One light attack later and he's dead.

I just encountered the bug initially reported; after getting Rada down to 75% I was on my own. At 50% and again at 25%, Rada was summoning the adds that Verandis supposedly needs to do his thing, but he did nothing even after all the adds were burned down. It took about 20 minutes to kill him.

Fortunately, the quest worked for me after (finally) killing him and I got the portal back to the orrery. But what a pain that was. Stuff like this that has been around this long really should have been fixed by now.
