Stibbons, Laurent, and Rigurt make sense as recurring characters for their own stories.

Reusing core storyline npcs always rubs me the wrong way though.

but I started this quest after reading the OP's CC, I can understand why they don't like the writing for Stibbons now and think there's something constructive that can be said about his over the top dialogue. It seems like someone was trying to make an impression of Stibbons rather than write what Stibbons would say himself. I do think this quest could do with a revamp or rewrite, even if the original author did write it, this is not how Stibbons normally talks.

This quest reeks of jealousy and Sheogorath, without Sheogorath making an appearance. What they appear to be accomplishing is the establishment of some lore, which was done alright I suppose, but at the cost of making Stibbons into a caricature

And the ending was just... just why

She always looks at him as inferior, and he is clearly someone who deserves better. These are supposed to be vignettes into these character's lives, I don't agree with the way this played out.

Purrsonally, this one thinks Stibbons and his lady ship need a break from the chapters. Too much overdone.

This one is replaying the Vastarie quests and one of the nice thing about Vastarie as recurring character, is that you get glimpses of character development and also how others perceive her.

Admittedly, Stibbons’ appearance is for comic relief, but too much can also be a dull thing.

Of all the places they've shown up at, High Isle is one of the few places it makes sense for Lady Laurent to be at. Lady Laurent could have been involved in any interesting side quest dealing with Briton nobility but instead we got a badly written garbage quest.
