Just imagine seeing your house guest in the backyard fishing at the lake saying it's a nice day to go fishing or rats I can't even catch a boot.

Just imagine a few more slots to have so many possible interesting house-guests... :)

But yes would be a fun one in certain builds.

I Think a better idea would be to let Houseguests emote or interact with furniture. Maybe give every humanoid houseguest some basic Emotes that they can all do, like sitting down in a chair, fishing, dancing, playing the lute, etc. We can already make them walk around the house, so it makes no sense why they can't be allowed to sit in a chair also.

That concept right there my friend is the icing on a cake I like it.

Give them autonomy too, so you don't have to give them a specific path and order of instructions they just wander around doing things. They'll sit in chairs, pretend they're working at crafting stations, pretend to fish, admire a painting or tapestry, maybe even talk to each other in nonsensical NPC conversations.

And give us WAY more special slots!!

I would love to see the NPCs doing those things, it makes sense.

I love guests very much. Therefore, I want all residents of my house, including skeletons and pets, to have an aggression activation setting. I want them to attack other guests, players.

I'd love the older guests to get updates every now and then. Like the guard is a jerk even by Skyrim standards. Let's let him evolve or let us use him as a target dummy. Some of the older guests just aren't all that interesting.

Though I do enjoy sticking the reach witch next to the prince and alternating between their lines. It's like a very socially maladjusted flirting.

Letting houseguest “use” other furnishings would be great up to a point. You wouldn’t want them to block players from using the same items, or you might not get your writs finished.

The player can’t use a bed, so at least that collision is avoided. You could be waiting for hours until they wake up.
