High Isle Active Vent Icon and Current Quest icons Missing

I'm finding the High Isle quest markers to be very buggy.
First, if I fast travel to Gonfalon Bay I find that I cannot see the active volcanic vent icon. I have visited EVERY vent but if I'm at the Gonfalon Bay wayshrine all of the vents show as inactive. Also, if I pick up a daily quest while in Gonfalon Bay I can only see the quest marker for NPC I'm supposed to get more info from as an option. Expanding out to the High Isle map does not show the actual Delve or WB. If I leave the city by porting to another wayshrine I find that the quest markers show up part of the time but that opening and closing the world map several times will sometimes make the markers show.
Very frustrating for finding an active vent. By the time the active icon shows the battle is almost over and I can't ride to it in time.
The bugginess extends to trying to reach quests on the adjacent isle. Rather than show me my final goal it shows me where to pick up a boat to travel to the other isle. If I've opened all the wayshrines why would I ever use a boat again? Unless I'm actually on the isle where the delve is located I can't see the quest location.

✭✭✭✭Gonfalon Bay has a separate map inside the High Isle map so for some reason you cannot see markers outside of the smaller area for quests if you are in the city. Also If you are on one island and your place of interest is on the other one, the marker will be at the docks on the main isle or Amenos Station on the other one. I forget the name of the docks but it is the place where you first traveled from the main isle to Amenos.
This sort of behavior is similar in other cities in other zones, you may have not noticed it before, though.
I agree it is highly inconvenient and it would be nice if it could be changed, but I doubt it will be at this point.
