    they should glow or something
They already glow before being openend.

Should glow brighter tbh. Little light beam going in the sky never hurt.

OMG yes! I think that every single darn time. I run around like a skeever with my head cut off looking for the darn things. It's really hard to find when someone places an apple bobbing cauldron on top of the thing.

I just look at the map and see which one has crossed swords over it.

We are talking about the treasure trove that appears after the vent is completed.

Yes, after my earlier post in this thread I noticed that it does glow and has sparkles coming up from it, plus it is always in the same spot relative to the druid-- if you're standing in front of the druid and are facing away from her, it will be a little bit to the right, at maybe a "1 o'clock" position. Once you realize that, it's easy to spot. :)

I like the glowing green vines idea from a poster above. Even though I've done hundreds of these vents and I know the treasure spawn nodes..... it can still take a min or so it find the treasure cache.

Not if there are multiple other players standing around it. If it was just taller than the players it would help a lot.

Now that I've realized it's always in the same spot, I try to go to that spot before it even appears, although that isn't always so easy due to terrain differences-- in particular, the pattern of glowing cracks-- from vent to vent. At some of the vents it's easy (with enough prior experience at that particular vent) to predict the spot where the cache will appear; but at other vents it's more tricky. And yes, it's harder to see something if a lot of people are obscuring your view. :)

There is an "x" over the vent that is active when you look at the map. Just like the dragons show. Was just in High Isle and I was alone at an active vent. Where is everyone? Just curious.

the event is over. it went from being High Isle to Dead Isle real fast, was quite funny on xbox NA, people were getting their last few quests in, then poof

PS the topic isn't about finding the vents, it's about the reward at the site once you completed it.

Thanks! Didn't know that because they had it up still on the website. Looks like they took it down now.

Oh, I never once missed out on looting one, and they're always in the same spot. I would call this a non-issue.

I suppose people want a glow and a hum like dolmen chests have? I can understand where some confusion is coming from but it can't take any more than 5 seconds of your time to look for it

Like dolmen chest, when other players are busy looting it one see their chars standing and doing nothing which is bit confusing. If the client would rupture showing dozen digging animations at once some visual clue like shimmering, beam of light, fire or smoke might help. If there is already glow, I have not noticed it yet.

I did a lot of vents before I realised there even was a cache there! I thought they were rather lousy not giving any reward until a friend told me.
