    Very good idea OP.

Some of the anoying shouts can be silenced by simply accepting the quest (tales of tribute tutorial for example), you don't have to do the quest, just take it.

Unfortunately some of those are there for life with you. It is said that you cant go wrong in ESO, because all can be changed in your build, but nobody warns you, that if you do this one delve quest in Summerset, the singing guy at Alinor writs stations will haunt you forever.

Yeah, that is the number one that annoys me -- my main crafter is the poor fool that did this .... I refuse to do the quest on any others, and if researching wasn't such a pain in the tail, I'd have deleted that character, by now.
One reason I am thinking of relocating all my characters to Blackwood..... he is THAT annoying.

to the people saying add-ons exist for this- this is an example of something that should be addressed by the devs, not outside devs, as it is a significant impact on quality of playing and also affects the red headed stepchildren console players who have no access to add-ons.

Especially ones near wayshrines. It's fun to hear those two in Gonfalon Bay discuss the progression of the main story...once.

Those playing on PC can use the addon Shut Yer Trap - Mute NPCs to mute only the NPC, including companions, you don't want to ear anymore. Much better than an other addon I won't name.

Those addons really never work well if at all.

Make sure you have done the guild quest or you will be bugged 3 times about that each time! ("The guild requests your help" one, I forget which guild.)

That is probably the mages guild, and yeah, he is a level 10, complete on that -- if they include "comrade", it's the fighter's guild.

This idea and having single-scene quest events would cut down on my irritation with the game. I have to turn off dialogue audio in game because it’s just too much. I support having separate sliders for ambient and active quest dialogue. As a console player, this would be a huge QOL update.
