I love Arox... I sadly missed him as a guest as I did the quest only after he was gone. Deep sadness.

1. Darien Gautier- my friend and companion, through it all since the beginning. A man of constant inner struggle between choosing the easy path- luxury, ease, desire, selfishness- and the path less traveled- bravery, courage, loyalty, honesty- and choosing to continually return to and walk the road less traveled. In short, Darien represents the everyday us and shows an example that we can choose the road less traveled ourselves, even at the most difficult times, when supported by our own metaphorical "Five Companions" (which the improved "Five Companions" aka "True Friends of Loyalty" should have been Darien, Gabrielle, Heem-Jas, and Arox- not that Mannimarco and Abnur lolz bad close friend/advisor decisions on Veren)

2. Gabrielle Benelle- a mage scholar with the heart and courage a knight could only dare to have. Due to that, I welcomed her and her family any time with open arms to aid her in her journeys as she had in mine.

3. Meryline Barthel- voice actor nails it and she legit actually wants to and successfully helps you during the quest instead of the classic "Do everything for me." She exhibits generosity and other genuine, excellent attributes you'd want to have on someone at your side. Her "abilities" are also unique to boot and story progression arc could give rise to great follow on quests in later zones or dungeons. My opinion: make her a companion or give her a full zone main quest line to fully develop and craft out her character and relation with the "Champion" we are called.



If you couldn't tell... I've got a deep undercurrent of Covenant blood in me which probably comes from playing through Glenumbra full storyline easily 10+ times on characters 😆

Right now it's Fennorian! I find his character interesting, and according to the introduction letter it seems he's been through some tough stuff which makes you wonder what happened when Verandis picked him up and made him a Ravenwatch? At the end of the Markarth storyline he also said he'd be there for the player character. Would like to see him and the Ravenwatch return.

Run the White Gold Tower Dungeon.

Sadly, the first boss can be awkward to solo as it resets and pretty much requires the passive for unlocking cells to be maxed/lots of DPS but, the rest of it is pretty manageable with a companion.

Are you sure that dungeon is solo able? or perhaps my level is low, first group of mobs was too much at entrance,

Typically group dungeons are done in groups of 4... People won't mind if you talk to NPCs/take the quest, and if they do the queue to get into dungeons isn't all that long so you can keep trying. That dungeon along with Imperial City Prison are absolutely soloable though, probably the only DLC dungeons I'd recommend to try to solo too.

Honestly too many to list, but I will mention one - Erilthel - for being the best value for money houseguest. She is funny and has more lines than many of the more expensive ones like Lyranth.
