Enchanting Skillbooks and Leveling

My Enchanting is currently at level 11, I'm level 24 and in Greenshade now. I feel like I should be higher in Enchanting at my level them I am now.

I have gained maybe 3 levels through Bookshelves, but does anyone know the best way to level up Enchanting or the locations of enchanting books throughout the game?

I am using Potency 3 runes and Denata (blue aspects) runes but my meter only goes up by a fraction.

Any tips, links, etc etc?

Skill books along with all books in bookcases are instanced and go through a rotation of different books. There is no guarantee that a specific bookcase will have the book you're looking for because they change every so many minutes. I don't know what the timer is exactly, but it does happen.

The most viable way of leveling Enchanting is to hook up with a crafting buddy who's also leveling it. Craft the same type of glyphs (Potency and Aspect) for each other and exchange. You will get a lot more IP from extracting their glyphs than you will from extracting your own.

Another option is to just farm for glyph drops and extract those. They will still give more IP than extracting your own, but will be less than you would get from extracting someone else's crafted glyphs.

Based on the lists of the skill books I've seen, Enchanting only has 3 books that you can find that give a skill level. Each book only works once. So If you've found three books that raised your skill, you will not be finding anymore for raising enchanting on that character until they add more.

The list I saw was 3 for clothing, enchanting, alchemy, 4 for provisioning, 5 for blacksmithing, and 2 for woodworking. 5 per weapon except Dual Wield, Destruction and Restoration staff, with Destruction having 10 and restoration having 0 (believe half of the destruction ones are meant to be Restoration). Dual wield has 4. Armor I believe is 5 each, most classes have 5, except Nightblade which has only 1 book.

This is based on the info here: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Skill_Books

Enchanting takes way to long to level compared to other crafts, they should definitely increase the amount of XP gained from crafting and extracting glyphs.

Leveling enchanting is like watching paint dry. It is probably the only skill in crafting that I think you honestly have to have assistance with to level effeciently. Otherwise, you simply don't get enough XP from crafting or deconstructing loot drops to raise the level hardly at all.

Just change the % of random mats in the wilderness to give us a few more aspects would help a LOT.

My Altmer Sorc is having the same problem. Stuck on Level 9 enchant and spending a lot of gold on breaking down glyphs just to inch more to the next enchant level.

In fact, every time my char stops by the Sentinel bank to deposit more essence runestones, the bankers there just shake their heads and sigh.

The buddy system is the best. You can farm the runes if you get a good route down. That way you can give your friend the supplies anytime and let them make glyphs for you to deconstruct. He gets a little XP for crafting them and when he gets a pile of runes, you craft for him.

I find that to be the easiest instead of trying to trade out glyphs evenly.
