Duel Wield Rapid Strikes - Animation

A necessary welcome change, the old animation stab (& this from someone who liked the old one, but I'm going to criticize it of how terrible it animation was, that's worse than the new one (that some like to ignore)) it was inaccurate for maces & axes, such weapons wasn't meant for stabbing. Besides, it called Rapid Strikes not Rapid Stabbing, so good call the devs throw that garbage animation away!

The new one, no more stabbing animation, so a plus for maces & axes. (like mentioned those aren't stabby weapons if do it's a improper way using them irl) While swords & daggers, they still act accurately for swing striking from such is still effectively can cause deathly serious cuts from the bladed side & tip of them. Animation still gives (well better) justice to the skill names flurry & rapid strikes, a flurry of wild strikes of slashing & bashing! From my perspective I can easily tell the difference from it & doing either a light & heavy attacks (no hinder of soloing things like normal group dungeons, like March of Sacrifices) , I'm just good of observing of the animations of each I guess.

Main is Blue-Thuxis, a Argonian stamSorc, whose also is a werewolf! 2nd main, Cobalt-Thuxis, a Argonian stamArc, an identical twin sister to Blue-Thuxis, even is a werewolf as well! some alts:
Nirn-Scale Rajthux (Argonian, Templar), Ros-Ei Nature-Thuxis (Argonian, Warden), Crimson-Thuxis (Argonian, DK), Bone-Thuxis Tharn (Argonian, Necro) Why Bone-Thuxis has Tharn as a last name:
The siblings were separated at a young age due to a Dres slaver raid, Blue, Cobalt, Ros-Ei & their mother were able to escape, Crimson & Bone weren't that lucky. Crimson was later "rescued" by some Orcs that later ambushed the House Dres Dunmers, unfortunately one Dunmer remained & sadly successfully brought the young Bone-Thuxis to the Dres plantation. Later an Imperial, a Tharn, bought Bone at a auction & later told he was free, the young Argonian sadly had no idea where to go & doesn't know if his family was still alive, so the Tharn adopted him into House Tharn. This family of Argonians finally reunited years later.
, Kenneth Clyde (Nord, Sorc), Selene Gray-Thuxis (Argonian, Nightblade), Urmanda (Orc, Warden)
Some ESO history: I originally started from PS4 NA during June 10, 2015, I did reached CP 810+ on there. I eventually kinda got tired of paying PS+, so during February 4, 2019 I started moving to PC NA. Also CP: 810+. Nowadays I play ESO PC mostly, while PS4 is dust.

Flurry is the worst animation in the game. And I say that as a former Templar main.

I know people were losing their minds about the templar sweeps changes, but they have nothing on the disastrous animation that is rapid strikes. It's so bad. Just looks like lazy Heavy Attacking. I thought something was wrong the first time I saw it.

It may be better for maces & axes but it's not proper for swords & daggers, and it's extremely similar to the light and heavy attacks. I think that's what most players are trying to alert. Seems that the new animation is good for maces & axes and the original one was good for swords & daggers. They have both animations done, they can just allow us to chose which one to use on settings and it's all ok.

What happened to this animation? I thought I had somehow dropped the skill but no it is still on my bar. You hear a lot of "stabbing noise" like before but your animation is like you are heavy attacking the entire time. Really don't see why this was changed. The skill is called "Rapid Strikes" not "Heavy Hits". :(

Without going on another rant regarding this from previous discussion, let me just say it looks bad and doesn't work that well either. Neither does Templar jabs. After trying out both of these animations it looks like something a high school student just threw together, like a really smart one. He did one edit, didn't bother to test it or check it any further, didn't ask anyone else, turned it in the night just before it was due and then went to class the following day.

Its interesting though because I find myself trying out different things now. Will not say what they are but I still feel bad about those two changes.

If they deleted the old animation file we probably should say goodbye to such a suggesting. But if they have it on a backup, do some file path coding & scripting, yeah such a setting could be possible & us players could choose of our preference for our strikes. Also though, like other things that could bring a new bug in the game.
