Real Talk.... where are the caves?

So I love caves and mine shafts in real life. Just love them. My real last name is old frankish for Delver and Miner, and as far as I know my father's generation was the last one to mine in long standing family history. So its no joke that I love caves. And ESO is a great game for that. Long and deep, sometimes cavernous, just a bit twisty to challenge the sense of direction if you hide your map for fun... but....

Where are my cave housing items or better yet a cave, mine, or crypt house? I build a cave or two in my house usually but it takes many items and takes up a lot of room that could be fixed with a single item cave. And as for a full house, the big nord house has a crypt I think and there is an overlooking open cavern one but that is it. I would drop cash for a deep tunneled home in the earth which the DEVs could literally cut and paste from any number of delves already in the game. Big loop, leading to a big chamber and a small one. Maybe an underground pond and if you feel nice a carved out room or two like in the borrows.

There's the Erstwhile Sanctuary in the Gold Coast that's basically a creepy murderous cave. Unfortunately, it only goes on sale every now and then.

I built a cave in the Thieves Oasis, but the sand blows through the walls and other player built structures as if they weren't even there. And ZOS refuses to give us the ability to toggle it off and on. I basically abandoned the house because it's so immersion breaking.

Erstwhile Sanctuary is my primary now, but it's actually too expansive to have much of a cave-like feel to it. Same thing with Earthtear Cavern. Something smaller and more cozy like the Cavern of the Incarnate in Vvardenfell would be nice to have.

As well as Earthtear Cavern and Erstwhile Sanctuary there's Hakkvild's High Hall which has a series of catacombs at the entrance and Pariah's Pinnacle which is built into a mountain.

But those are all limited right? And I'm looking for more of a delve like home. More Hobbit house less Moria.

You can make caves in many of the homes in game right now using the easily available rocks and boulders from the home furnishing vendors.

Here is my "Sleek Creek" House where I made it into a secret fishing spot.

And if you want something more home-y you can take the alkways available Earthtear Cavern and block off what you don't want.

I made the entrance into a short cave that finally reveals itself to be an Ayleid Ruin.

I would take the Earthtear or Moonsugar meadow house and just make what you want from it.
