Please remove Sorinne Gaerard from Vivec City

I use Vivec City as my crafting hub and every time I pass this npc I have to hear the ToT advertisment.
It's so annoying I have to play with my volume set to zero while crafting.
No, I will not get the quest, I don't like cards game and I will not play it.

Thanks

She should be removed from all cities except Gonfolon Bay just outside the gaming hall.

Gotta put it there in case people forgot the line :D

It is like going to a trashy tourist trap, the touts are shouting, and you’re desperately looking for the exit.

Should just be a notice board near the NPC's for the card game in zones, no reason to have an NPC trying to advertise the card game outside of high isle.

I was so annoyed when I discovered her standing right beside the daily quest board in Vulkhel Guard. There is absolutely no way to avoid her if you want to do the daily crafting quests there (I do them there since the beginning, so I am in no way inclined to move to another place).
So everytime you approach the quest board, she starts shouting across the whole plaza. :|

I was so glad when I found about this awesome add on. I not only put a gag on her, but also on Stuga ond those two talking about dragons in your own homeland.
And there was one line that Mirri was repeating more often than I could bear - but not anymore. :D

I don't understand why ZOS keeps on annoying their players like this.
Luckily on PC you have ways to remedy that, but on console... you are screwed.

    Great solution, thanks.
I have being doing crafting in Vivec since 2018 because it's my favourite spot, I will stop because a stupid npc has to endlessy shout about a game of cards for which I have zero interest.
Anyone else has some other great advice?

    Pick up the tutorial quest.

Go to Gonfalon Bay Gambling Hall.

Play ToT or as do as Sammy does, which is to click wildly and randomly.

Lose, win, whatever you will still get (mediocre) loot.

Return to Vivec and praise The Three.

Praise The Three! You should be spared from the Tales of Tribute touts shouting at various locations.

Wait. You’re getting the ‘ads’ even without the High Isle chapter? That is very annoying.

I've never heard any NPCs shouting about the game. Maybe it's because I already did the intro quest and maybe one other afterwards and haven't done any other part of it. I've already satisfied the prerequisite.

    [snip]

currently I go to the champion point screen whenever I hear her starting to scream at me or one of my alts. She should also have a once per-account per-hour cooldown.

If they can give players the choice on what city to start in at the end of the tutorial they can surely give us the choice to remove a tutorial monster from a city. The masked person should be in that spot trying to get you to coldharbour, [snip]

Also, just why? Why a card game? How does this tie in with the lore? It's just not feasible for them (them- being a time and place that hasn't advanced past trebuchets or horse and carriage) in the middle of a war to suddenly come out with a card game unless the Dwemer invented it and use some sort of manufacturing technique and printing press, which clearly isn't the case given that books are hand written. When EQ, who have a similar take on technology, came out with a card game, they made sure to make it a minigame and sometimes you got TCG drops in-game that you could input into the minigame system that was within the game but clearly separate from the game and hand no bearing on progression or in-game gain. They didn't take their TCG seriously and put NPC players and someone to scream about it in every city.

And like who is hand crafting all these cards? [snip]

    [snip]

I wish, but if you turned in that tutorial, she's still there and will still talk to you with the next quest in chain she has now available. Less yelling, shorter and quieter, but she still talk to you.
Glory to you and your Dunmer House!

someone must've thought it would be a great way to market the chapter in game , nag everyone to death, until they cave in and buy it, which took me by surprise since Stuga doesn't show up unless you actually have access to Wrothgar.
My non H.I. PC acct hears her all the time....

    Pick up the tutorial quest.

Between Cyrodiil quests and IC dailies, plus crafting and other zone dailies and story quests, the 25 quest limit is extremely easy to hit. No way we should have to fill our log with trash quests just to silence annoying NPCs.

To get ad bashed even without the chapter! That is seriously aggravating. Even worse than Stuga or the “Dragons in your homeland” business.

There shouldn’t be NPCs touting ToT if the player doesn’t have the chapter or if the “ad” must exist, surely it can be more subtle, like a noticeboard (ie what ps done for battleground or tenancy).

@ZOS_Kevin can you please pass this feedback to the marketing team and the team that’s responsible for the random NPCs? Thank you!

I run into her on my Alinor path too and have resorted to taking the quest on every character to make her quiet. We already get enough yelling with Bera and Stuga!

Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis
