High Isle Event: Pathfinder, Alts, and Account Wide Achievements

gddanielb16_ESO
Was prepping for the event. Have pathfinder achievement on one toon. Loaded toon 2; has same pathfinder achievement, but have not visited all 6 locales. Minor inconvenience to visually confirm each of the 6 locales on the map visually for alts, but that seems required to know whether "done" or not.

Just checking to make sure Zos has anticipated this change, and has a method of adding up the 6's per toon!

Apologies; I believe this should have been posted this in the "Events" section.

There are some details in the event's official thread. Unlike last year's Blackwood event, this can only be done once per account per server.

You cab do it twice if you have characters on both EU and NA servers.

"log into the other server, realize you have NO mount training, logs out in despair"

Thanks for clarification. I totally misread the announcement. (and sorry about your mount training =D)

It’s kind of irrelevant anyway, the meter serves only as marketing tool and would reach 100% regardless of actual contribution.

Pathfinder-driven events have always been once per account, per server (going back to the Summerset event).
The only way to get credit more than once is with the "per server" stipulation; you can earn it once per account on both NA and EU.

Here is the Blackwood event announcement showing last year was per character.

We’re adding progress to the meter for each time the achievement is earned for each character, not account, so even if you’re already earned it before, you can always earn it again with a different adventurer.

I've seen a few people ask if it would be the same this year despite Account Wide Achievements, because that was how it worked for Blackwood.

Yep. Game is rigged from the start.
To be the Chosen One really sounds like lots of fun,
But in the end you'll just be someone's lunch

So if we have the achievement already, that goes into the % as being counted??

Edit: just read the other link. Good! All done and dusty!

My apologies. I seem to have forgotten all about that.
