Game Crashes Immediately

When I try launching ESO, the launcher loads and updates just fine, however, when I click the "Play" button, it grays out for a moment then becomes enabled again without anything else happening. I checked the Windows Event Viewer and found that ESO64.exe is crashing pretty much immediately. The contents of the error report (WER) file are attached below. Any assistance on where things are going wrong would be appreciated. For context, this is an imagine of Windows 11 running on Parallels Desktop for Mac. I've been able to run other games on it like Guild Wars 2 without issues.

Thanks for the reply. I've already tried repairing the installation, and I don't have any Addons installed in the first place. I can't change the game's graphics settings because I'm not actually getting the game to launch at all. As soon as I click "Play" from the launcher, the button grays out and then reenables. And I couldn't find anywhere within the launcher to change graphics settings.

I've got DirectX 12 and the 2022 Visual C++ Redistributable installed as well as all standard Windows updates. I am running this via Parallels Desktop on a MacBook M1, so the virtual video driver is a Parallels adapter, which is up to date. But I've seen other users post in the forums that they had no issues with running ESO via Parallels - and I'm able to run Guild Wars 2 on it without issue so it's not like the adapter just doesn't work for any kind of gaming.

    Any other ideas?

Being unable to launch after hitting the "Play" button in the launcher may be a permissions issue. Check your anti-virus settings and make sure the correct exceptions have been setup.

The application files that may require exceptions are:
    • Bethesda.net_launcher: C:\Program Files (x86)\ZenimaxOnline\Launcher
    • ESO.exe: C:\Program Files (x86)\ZenimaxOnline\The Elder Scrolls Online\game\client\eso.exe
    • Steam.exe: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steam.exe

Some antivirus programs require entire folders to be selected instead of a single file. When this is the case, the file paths below are what you should use. If required by the anti-virus program, include all subfolders since every file is critical to run the game.
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Zenimax Online\The Elder Scrolls Online\
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\
