It's time to bring back Bleak Rock!

Bleak Rock is one of my all time favorite zones due to it being a very snowy beautiful part of skyrim. I absolutely love the town itself too. Everything is right there. I don't understand why it is the only starter area that that gets destroyed when you finish the quest. Neither of the Covenant or the Dominion zones become like that. It's been 8 years and the covenant haven't gotten tired of burning the villages? Give us a quest where we can go back a rebuild it!

Also, can you please give us a nice big snowy nord house for Shor's sake. The house in windhelm sucks, the one in the Rift is decent but the notable home, that freaking high hall, is pretty bad too. Just give us a big nord house in the snow where we can have a big outside area.

    My vote would be no.

The town is great for leveling up ledgerman. You can go to max level so quickly, it’s great.
It’s also great for those endeavors when you need to steal a bunch of stuff from the environment.

I'm not sure how much the code would handle it, but I think most of the original zones and even the DLC once you go through it should change. Basically getting 2 zones for price of 1. As somebody else said after I've defeated the invading army I shouldn't have to keep killing them every time. Sure have some things that I have to kill, but make it wild life or TES favorite bandits or whatever.

It already has separate instances for before and after the attack, I agree it would be nice to have an instance for after the town is saved.

Yes! I'd love to see Bleakrock rebuilt. I think it could be a really cool process, going back, resettling the land, all of that.

If Bleakrock was rebuilt it would be my main residence ( I mean seriously if they did you know there would be houses) I hung out there so much back in the day.

    Yeah another vote for Bleakrock

If we put a house on it lets make it a big one. I'm talking a Thieves Oasis sized walled village. Main hall, some smaller out buildings, stables, smithy, and snow everywhere. Like Kyne's Aegis's start. Make the least of zones the best of them. I would drop $200 for this.

Yes, I would love to see a quest to rebuild Bleakrock, even if you had to donate raw materials to do it (lumber, rock, iron, etc.).

Bleakrock is easily my favorite starter zone, so it makes it worse that it is the only zone that gets destroyed and not restored somehow.

The more I think about this, the more I think it'd make an awesome stand alone mini DLC...add a dungeon to Bleakrock that's really about ending Covenant occupation and a small storyline (I mean we kinda did it with Murkmire)

    I agree with rebuilding Bleakrock.

I disagree with a massive home. It would just clash with the surrounding area, as Bleakrock is meant to be just a tiny nord settlement. A massive mansion would be WAY too out of place. If we are to have a massive nord mansion, I’d prefer it in the snowy outskirts of Windhelm, as it would make more sense. Or even a private island, like how forgemaster falls was. But not in Bleakrock town itself.

For Bleakrock, instead I would prefer something the same size as the homes there, maybe like that two story home that you wake up in as the Vestige, and then a spacious snowy grounds for farmland/etc/lumberjacking, plus a small ice creek that runs through. Or something like that. Small and quaint and farm like, much like the other houses.

Why are you against rebuilding bleakrock? I would like to honestly know.

And a massive nord house there could work if they added a separate part to the island out in the water like how castle volkihar was in skyrim or just make it some abandoned home that the locals think is haunted.

??? Where did I say I disagree with rebuilding Bleakrock?

I disagree with having a massive mansion among the other houses because I feel like it would clash too much, and I’d prefer the home to look like it actually belongs there. But a private island like Forgemasters falls would be good; away from the town proper with a boat at the docks to take you there.

I'm a Daggerfall Covenant die hard, but seriously, Bleak Rock used to be everyone's go-to to complete writs (before housing that is). Everything is there, and that is why you'd always had your crafter make sure not to complete the quest in that zone. Yes, bring back Bleak Rock!

It’d be really neat if they combined these two requests. DLC comes out, with a petition to rebuild Bleakrock. You accept and you have to do quests to slowly build the area back up (go destroy a small camp Covenant soldiers set up off the coast or a boat or something), harvest materials to donate to rebuilding, etc. At the end of the quest line, you’re rewarded the house and granted a title.

I’d actually love to see more places transformed like this. Rivenspire has both the north part of the town proper as well as Northpoint that just stay meh and boring after the quests. Both could make lovely towns to live in. Auridon also has the northern part of the island (blanking on names) that is also under attack by the Covenant. I’m sure there are plenty of locations that could be updated with an “after” instance but I do think Bleakrock has the most potential.

This is one of my favorites as well. I tend to spend a lot of time there as it's lush for materials and so pretty to look at. Music is nice too.

I do like the starter areas. I love wondering the islands along the coast and just walking all the way around. So nice! It's the vacation I don't get.
