Sea Serpent Fangs lead drop has to be bugged

I must have killed the Sea Serpent bog WB at least 70 times on several different characters and still no drop.

Is the drop rate really that bad or is my account bugged for that lead somehow?

Update: and as luck would have it, finally got it on my 3rd attempt today. Just extremely low drop rate I guess.

    i dont remember having this much difficulty with it, i probably only killed it about a dozen times, so it might just be bad RNG

    i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

    feel free to stop by and use the facilities

    As someone who likes to collect all 3 codex entries for all items I can tell, that all leads for high isle have a horrible rng.

    filling out the codex entries is about equivalent to collecting non-mages guild lorebooks, essentially the codex entries are little lore blurbs about the antiquity you are digging up

    some antiquity only have 1 entry (like collectibles such as the leads for the dwemer wolf), while most others have 3 (so you have to dig up the item 3 times for all of the "lore")

    they also added additional function for the furnishings, if you have completed all the codex entries, then you can directly buy the furnishing with gold instead of having to do lead hunting
