Fungal Grotto 2 final boss didn't appear

I've done this dungeon hundreds of times, we got to the end of the dungeon and boss didn't appear. Just another wonderful dungeon bug during a dungeon event, and I got to waste my 150xp scroll on an incompletable random normal. I am getting so sick of the constance bad performance.
Doors not opening, bosses not appearing, or blinking in and out of existence, like the menagerie in fang lair.
