Leads should state "Requires Antiquities skill lines to use"

Yesterday a player in zone said "I just got the last lead for the Oakensoul ring. What do I do now?" I said "Dig them up." and he asked "How?" He had no clue that this would require the antiquities skill line. I felt really bad telling him he still had a long tedious grind ahead before he could construct the ring.
There should be a tool tip on leads to inform players of this.

They really need to make this more clear.

if you do nothing but dig up leads, and go zone to zone completing the codex entries and one time per zone purple leads, you can get to the level required in less than a week
when the antiquity system was first added (and western skyrim was so buggy it had insane lag) i spent 4 days just grinding antiquities because i didnt have to be in western skyrim for that outside of the initial intro quest, and after that was pretty close to rank 7, and being able to actually do mythic leads helped finish rank 7 to 10
now if they are a newish player, they might not figure out how to efficiently rank it up fast enough, and this method only works the first time you level the skill line because all those purple ones from the zones are 1 time onlyplays PC/NA

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (fully filled out with current game), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them
in progress: acquiring mundus stones (currently only have the thief)

Leveled 8 alts to level 9, get a bit drunk and watch youtube on screen 2, faster on your first as you get the purple ones once, but stop at lvl 7 go to hollow city and get the gold void crystal lead from plants, farm this to lvl 10.SilverBride wrote: »That was the sad part, but he had a great attitude about it. ✭✭✭✭✭I have leveled 4 characters to level 10 in scrying and excavation, so there are ways to do it. The problem is that this player could have done that before searching for all the leads if the first lead they found would have alerted them that these skills would be needed to actually use the lead then. Just a popup or a tooltip or something.PCNA0 -
Zyva✭✭✭✭✭I power leveled a character to level 9 in 2 days. It required spending nearly 5 hours in Artaeum going back and forth with green/blues, then going around doing green-blue-purples in zones. Then finally digging up the stock of gold ones I had.
The true grind is once youve gotten all the purples in every zone. You either farm purple leads (or have them stockpiled), or you give up on having it on multiple characters. I've only just gotten my sixth character to max, and that was super casually farming from levels 7-10 on the last three by digging up purple/golds when they randomly popped up. be careful what you wish for, because "scrying" and "excavation" are 2 separate skill lines they might charge you either more for the pair, or separately making you pay twice to actually get the full antiquity skill line lolplays PC/NA
